When Hurley was asked about the end of The Royals during Bravo’s late-night talk show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she replied that she wasn’t satisfied and didn’t expect the show to end that way. Hurley also added that there would surely be another season to properly complete the series. He even sympathized with the fans’ disappointment. Mark Schwan, the creator of the program, was accused of sexual harassment during another job, One Tree Hill. Because of this accusation, Mark was fired and the show was cancelled. Twenty-five cast and crew spoke out against Mark in the letter, alleging that he frequently sexually harassed several female members of the cast and crew without their consent.
